    Awesome site....

My site (Malignity.com) is where I plan to put up my very own cliff jumping (QUARRY JUMPING, actually) site this summer. I live on the east coast, around Boston... and down the street where I live is a huge quarry where people come from all around to cliff (quarry) jump. It's fucking incredible, and I feel blessed that I live so close to this place (a 10 minute walk). The jumps range from 20 to 45 feet and I've done them all countless times... include the crazy ones (involving a lot of running and clearing stuff)...

I like your guides and nice photos...

To all the people who haven't CLIFF or QUARRY JUMPED... it's amazing, and you have to try it... I know, because it's become a real passion for me.

Hi peoples.. from an old jumper...I started jumping the Clam back in 1940...I was 12 years old. I jumped with my local La Jolla friends...about 12 of us. It was not against the law then..and we had to make a trail to the edge..was full of sagebrush. We never had anybody hurt during the 5 years that we jumped. It was a blast and FUN. We also dove for Abalone and Lobsters off the rocks by the La Jolla Cave Store.

I love the site!! I'm a cliff jumping freak from Washington State, and whenever I have free time that's what I do. You guys got some cool pictures. The one on Dead Mans....that's the best. You should put some more pictures up. Best of luck.

Will sure gave me a few anxious moments while he was in high school jumping the clam. Now that it's 'over', I am glad he has the wonderful memories of practicing such a safe sport! Will and his friends had fun putting the video together. Everyone should order the video.

I started jumping the clam at age 7, that was 24 yrs ago. Too bad those idiots had to get hurt by not knowing what they're doing. I was hoping to take my kids down there one day. Probably still will.

I have lived in La Jolla behind the Colonial Inn, now referred to as the 'grand' Colonial Inn, and have always been intrigued by the Clam. When I first moved to the Village, I had a burning desire to jump off at the clam. I would watch people and think it looked kind of dangerous but thrilling at the same time. Several accidents and years later, they have now made it illegal to jump off the clam. Occasionally I have seen jumpers getting ticketed by lifeguards for jumping and I feel a twinge of regret for never having made the jump. Maybe one of these days I'll do it when no one is around.
